Is it acceptable
to plant plants in different growth phases directly next to one another?
The more mature a plant is, the stronger its roots and the bigger its leaves are. Both of these factors can affect the growth of smaller plants that might be in the vicinity of a more well-developed plant. Therefore, newer plants should always be planted a sufficient distance from existing ones.
